Formula for Fanfiction Fabulousness

Or FFF for short!

I dont know... here I was procastinating translating my fanfic and chatting with a dear friend and fellow writer when all of the sudden this came to my mind! So, is it possible to actually measure the quality of a fanfiction? Quality is something that CAN be measured so... why not? Here is my try!

I added some examples just to make sure the formula works. It do works, but only for fanfics above 10 chapters, because no matter how good short stories are, the rate will be low just because of the number of chapters.

The idea is rate fanfictions based on the number of Favs, Follows and Reviews. The higher the number, the better the story (or at least, more popular) A story with few follows such as troll fics and one-shots will get a very low rate. Also it doesnt matter if the fanfic has a thousand chapters, the number will come out according to its favs, follows and reviews.

It DOES NOT work on one-shots, I tried with many awesome one-shots and the result was pretty low. Maybe the formula does not work at all LOL why dont you give it a try? Try it out and comment in here about your results! Add what fanfic is, from what fandom, and your opinion =) that would be a nice feedback for me!

You know, this is pretty solid, if the main characters in a particular fandom are popular, you know? Like, a supremely awesome crack-pairing fic would probably get less traffic than a more normal pair.
I have no examples, just thoughts because I'm bored and scoping through galleries. :P
